·          Operations & Maintenance team

·          Senior Technical Expert

·          Office Manager

·          Legal Counsel

            (Total internal team of 7 is expected to grow with the
             business over the next 3 years.)

·          Development support team of external field workers

Suppliers /Key Customers (Investors). 


Regional Electricity Distribution Companies.

Renewable Energy sector authorities.


Direct Reporting team. 

PV Power Headquarter office in Prague. 


Main Focus and 














































Country Manager is the supreme representative of PV Power in Chile. The position requires strong leadership and management skills. The person must be able to drive development, construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities dynamically forward and ensure achievement of development and construction targets of 150-200 MW in the period 2018-2021. He or she is expected to lead the organization into a new business reality. 

Country Manager is responsible for all aspects of business performance in the country and will drive the implementation of the development growth strategy to make sure the company achieves its business goals of maximizing profit and growth. Entrepreneurial creative spirit, strong drive to overcome potential obstacles and a will to succeed attitude are essential in this position. The organisation and overall business size in the close future will grow in multiples as compared to present state. 

The person will lead and coach the country’s local team and ensure implementation of corporate strategies, policies and procedures. 

The objective is to create a results-oriented team environment with a level of quality and performance that directly translates into added value for the business. 



  • Permanently monitors free capacity of the distribution grid in the target regions
  • Defines and delivers on defined targets in the area of in-house project development (suitable location identification and lease contracting, due diligence on land, obtaining all required permits and licenses for land and connection, relevant studies, e.g. grid connection and environmental impact, access to selected land plots, easement/mining rights etc.)
  • To that end, maintains and motivates qualified internal and external staff
  • Identifies and negotiates with external developers potential acquisitions of projects in ready-to-build stage, inspects and is responsible for quality of such projects and manages cost of acquisition to expected levels


Operational & Maintenance and Financial performance

  • Rigorous management of company budget through analytics 
  • Overall financial performance of the company: Revenues, Gross Margins, EBIT, EBITDA,
  • Individual project budget - Development, Connection and EPC as per defined targets
  • Ability to integrate newly constructed & connected PV plants 
  • Oversees implementation of PV Power Q&M concept
  • Measuring KPIs and competitive benchmarks 
  • Ability to challenge the organization to perform required changes 


Manages/develops relationships with existing and new investors: 

  • Ensures high quality of projects, complete documentation and good name of the company 
  • Constantly looks for potential new investors with medium to long-term investment appetite in solar business
  • Coordinates/manages project sale transactions
  • Develops repeated sale opportunities of sizeable part of project pipeline (framework agreements) with the same strategic investors/funds


Engineering, Procurement and Construction: 

  • Follows group-wide procurement policies and coordinates with central procurement function
  • Makes sure that purchases are made with “value for money” approach 
  • Is responsible for timely delivery of all EPC deliverables in defined budgets and at expected quality level


People management: 

  • Identifies training needs and develops people 
  • Provides annual assessment of key managers/specialists 

Profile & Qualification

  • Preferably Chilean or Czech national with previous business experience in Latin America region
  • Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of Czech is an advantage
  • Strong entrepreneurial acumen
  • University degree in electricity engineering or economics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managementand project management
  • Experience in photovoltaic sector (development, EPC) presents significant advantage
  • (Preferably International) Experience in managing small to medium-sized company and teams
  • Experience in structuring uncomplicated firm exit deals is an advantage
  • Experience in direct contact with external or internal clients
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Possesses excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service skills, interpersonal, presentation and organisation skills
  • Should be able to work hard under pressure, particularly when facing a deadline
  • Should be able to solve issues creatively and manage crisis situations
